Wraithlord’s Haven Build for Last Epoch
Build Showcase
I've implemented some significant changes that have propelled my damage output to new heights. I achieved an impressive 808k critical hit on Orobyss at 181 Corruption without any defensive modifiers. This amounted to a staggering 46% of Orobyss' health in a single strike, bringing them down in just 3 hits, approximately within 3 seconds. Additionally, I managed to defeat T4 Julra in about 9 seconds, with the initial hit dealing 430k damage.
I've provided the footage and a screenshot of the critical hit number below. However, this time, I aim to delve into the gear, skill, and passive choices I've made, addressing some inquiries raised previously. While this isn't a comprehensive build guide, I'll highlight intriguing decisions, omitting typical aspects common to Necromancer builds.
How Does this Work?
Wraithlord's Haven revolves around consuming non-wraith minions while at maximum wraiths, granting a significant boost to Temporary HP and flat damage. The build focuses on rapidly summoning as many non-wraith minions as possible to empower the Wraithlord with substantial flat damage. Volatile Zombie plays a crucial role, summoning 5 minions at once, each consumed to summon 3 Skeleton Vanguards and 10 Corpse Parasites, resulting in 18 minions consumed in a single spell cast, equivalent to 180 flat damage. Today's breakthrough tech involves Bone Prison/Sacrifice builds (source: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KXfZ5K-5grI). Utilizing the Bone Prison node within Bone Curse summons another 18 minions, doubling the flat damage to 360 in two spell casts.
In addition, both Infernal Shade and Dread Shade significantly enhance the Wraithlord's power. By capping the maximum number of Wraiths at two, the Wraithlord initiates combat almost instantly.
The Rotation
The setup requires precision but doesn't rely on snapshotting or exploits. During Monoliths, I let the Wraithlord handle combat, summoning zombies on cooldown and refreshing Dread Shade as needed. I reserve a skill point for the Locus of Death node in Summon Wraith, enhancing damage against bosses. I also keep an unallocated Transplant for mobility, switching to the specced Bone Curse for boss encounters.
Upon entering a boss arena, I remove Summon Wraith from the skill bar, assign Locus of Death, re-add it, replace Transplant with Bone Curse, wait for cooldown, then engage.
The rotation inside the arena must be swift and precise:
- Summon Wraith near the boss.
- Apply Infernal Shade and Dread Shade while summoning the two wraiths.
- Cast Volatile Zombie.
- Cast Bone Curse once the zombies are summoned.
- Deliver a powerful strike.
Gear
- Death Rattle: Provides Int on an amulet and offers significant minion crit multi, outweighing Logi's Hunger in terms of Ward Retention and Minion Crit Multi.
- Chronostasis: Offers Intelligence and Ward per Second, crucial for survivability, allowing the use of a catalyst like Opulent Focus.
- Exsanguinous & Last Steps of the Living: Standard low-life setup for enhanced survivability.
- Twisted Heart of Uhkeiros: Provides a substantial %hp increase and useful plus levels to Infernal Shade and Dread Shade.
- Julra's Obsession: An essential minion item whose stats apply to minions as well, with the Cast Speed affix being ideal.
Skills
- Bone Curse: Utilized for Bone Prison, providing 18 minions and offering various beneficial effects.
- Infernal Shade: Enhances cast speed and provides increased damage, lasting indefinitely.
- Dread Shade: Offers significant damage boosts, especially when tailored for the Wraithlord.
- Summon Wraith: Maximized to two wraiths, providing substantial damage boosts.
- Volatile Zombies: Essential for summoning minions quickly and offering Ward on zombie death, enhancing survivability.
